Mastering Blogger: How to Set up a Custom Domain with GoDaddy for Optimal Blog Performance!"
You don't have to be limited to a "yourblogname.blogspot.com" domain address, so I'll teach you how! Step by step. I know this appears overwhelming, but I assure you it isn't, and after you've set it up, you won't have to worry about it again. Having your custom domain name is one of the most important things I always encourage a blogger to do for various reasons: You own it, so you can take it anywhere with you. If you decide to leave Blogger or if you want to alter your brand/blog name, you may do so effortlessly.
To maintain consistency, create your own email accounts with the same primary name. You will first need to register a domain name. You may use whatever registrar you choose, but I prefer GoDaddy, and in this example, I'll show you how. Okay, now that you have registered your domain, it's time to put it to use. I've included a detailed plan, so please follow along. As previously stated, this sample makes use of GoDaddy. If you haven't already registered your domain with GoDaddy, you may learn how to modify your DNS information here.

NOTE: If you’ve previously tried this and the CNAME information does not appear as above, try this:
Click "verification details" to the right of your customized URL.
To expand the record, click the DNS CNAME Details link at the top of the page.
NOTE: If you've already done this and the CNAME information does not appear as shown above, try this:
The portion in yellow above is your “Host” and the portion that begins with “gv-” is your “Points To” for the step below.
Step 3 (in GoDaddy):

The generated codes will be unique to you, so do not enter the ones displayed above. Instead, use the ones Blogger created for you.
Step 4:
Now you'll want to include "A Records" to avoid a 404 error page from appearing if a user leaves off the "www" in your URL.In the Host box, enter @, and in the Points To: box enter the first Google IP here:
216.239.32.21
216.239.34.21
216.239.36.21
216.239.38.21
Step 5:
Remember that DNS settings might take up to 48 hours to change, so if it doesn't work straight immediately, it's not meant to. Wait it out and check back to see whether the adjustments have been updated. Your custom domain name should instantly redirect visitors from your blogspot.com URL to your new domain name.

Step 6:
Once your URL is set up and working, click the Edit link next to your domain name on your preferences page and tick the aforementioned checkbox! This will prevent issues from occurring when users leave out the "www" in your URL.If this was helpful to you, please share it with others who may want similar assistance!
